Caravan SME Support Program

This program is designed to focus on providing the necessary capacity building support for micro-entrepreneurs to develop STEM-focused value chains to address challenges and opportunities in strategic industries related to manufacturing individual economic actors through institutionalisation of informal trade corridor systems. Our goal is to invest in developing regional networks for the linking of value chains that reach the grassroots; prioritise the creation of ecosystems that deliver risk-optimised capital to microenterprises operating at this level in a manner that encourages STEM knowledge embedment as a means of enhancing productivity; and to take away the burden of exploring and discovering regional economic opportunities from individual economic actors through institutionalisation of informal trade corridor systems.

Sankore Program

In ensuring that African leaders are conscious about creating such legacies that provide long term benefits to young people, the AfroChampions Initiative has created a program called the “Sankore Program”. The Sankore Program is the “CARAVAN Scholars Program" under the big umbrella of the “Caravan Africa Project”. It provides ambitious young people the opportunity to work with African Presidents (Leaders) to conceive ground-breaking ideas and identify viable strategies to bring them to life. Scholars work directly with African Presidents to build their "legacy 4 Youth" initiatives.
